Seventeen year old pop musician ‘Carson Shmyr’ releases ‘Tired of Waking Up’

Seventeen year old pop musician Carson Shmyr is well known for his ballad based down tempo music, but the up and coming superstar has done a complete 180 in the direction of his career with the announcement of his new single, “Tired of Waking Up“, which features fifteen year old singer Halle Ponton in her debut performance. The song, which release July 5th 2019, is a huge change of style for the young singer as he leans into a more electric based dance style similar to that of Martin Garrix and Troye Sivan. By utilizing uptempo chords and a driving beat, “Tired of Waking Up” truly captures a summer vibe and plays perfectly into the expectations of teenagers across the world. The song has a particular “car stereo” sound to it, possessing the mood of driving in the summer with the windows rolled down. While the song may be a shift in mood from his typical music, Carson didn’t shy away from focusing on lyric writing on his new track and gave us more heart wrenching lyrics we can all relate too. Carson Shmyr begun his music career at fourteen years old by posting covers on Instagram before releasing his […]

Kamron Bahani Comes Out With His latest album “Thy Fear, Thy Fall, Thy Succeed“

Kamron Bahani is a hip-hop artist out of Manhattan, NY. His style is reminiscent of the boom-bap era conjoined with a contemporary twist. His inspirations draw from sound more than anything; as a child, he was never opposed to any form of music. Every shade and color of sound created a different sense of Nostalgia. In a recent interview with Dead End Hip Hop, Bahani states, “Honestly, musicians have to have a palette that can transmogrify one flavor into a multitude of them.” From ages one to five, Kamron lived in Huntsville, Alabama, this is where his inclinations from music blossomed. “I remember just being around an amalgam of music and for that moment in time, I realized that it’s, in essence, a universal truth. For one moment, whether it’s a nanosecond, or an hour, people are complacent to the music. It’s humanity’s purest drug.” His sound is a dynamic of brash, raw, authentic wordplay that will leave the listener with intrigue. Bahani is vehement with his craft, he’s always creating, hoping to inspire. His latest album “Thy Fear, Thy Fall, Thy Succeed has reached a larger demographic than his previous efforts. Though he is a lyricist at heart, he […]

Ajay Srivastav delivers a folky world music blend that takes you on a cosmic universal journey

In a world of X-factor, covers and comebacks it’s rare to find real innovation in music. Ajay Srivastav delivers a double helping by seamlessly fusing two disparate musical cultures of Delta Blues and Indian folk into a sonic whole to create ‘Karmic Blues’. Think Ben Harper having a late-night jam with George Harrison just after he came back from a sitar lesson with Ravi Shankar. As a musician Ajay has worked with a diverse variety of acts such as Jamiroquai, Gregory Isaacs, Zakir Hussain, Sister India and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. His song-writing skills have been touted by British music legend Jah Wobble who has produced two of his forthcoming tracks. Ajay’s passion for music and a global philosophy has taken him on a journey that has seen him work as a touring guitarist, compose for film and musical theatre, write Top 10 hits in India and garner success on the World Music scene with his band Botown. However, something was missing and while taking a break from touring he travelled to his father’s hometown of Varanasi ‘the holy city of India’ in search of his truth and came back with Karmic Blues. In his own words Ajay […]
