The incredible kindness of Taylor Swift has struck again as she sends Grace VanderWaal a special gift.

On Friday (16Sep16), 12-year-old Grace VanderWaal, who won the top TV talent show on Wednesday (14Sep16), posted a short video to her Twitter account showing the huge pink floral display she received from the Shake It Up superstar.

“Words can not explain how honored I am for this.. thank. You. SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! @taylorswift13” she wrote on her page.

Grace was a frontrunner from her first appearance on the show in June (16) when she sang her own original song, I Don’t Know My Name, and also played the ukulele. Show judge Simon Cowell was amazed by her performance and immediately pronounced her “the next Taylor Swift”.

Swift, 26, is becoming famous for her incredibly generous and thoughtful acts towards fans. Last year, 11-year-old Naomi Oakes, who had just been diagnosed with leukemia, was forced to miss her idol’s concert in Phoenix, Arizona. When friends and family shared a video of Naomi dancing to Swift’s song Bad Blood, they were hoping at best for a #TeamNaomi message of support from the kind singer. Instead, Swift donated $50,000 (GBP38000) to Naomi’s Go Fund Me page.

She likes to give advice, too. Also last year (15), a Swift fan asked her if he should wear a tie or bow tie to his school prom.

“I like the tie but honestly both are great,” she replied. “I just feel like you look like a 50’s movie star in the bow tie, but more like a modern movie star in the tie. Depends on what vibe you’re wanting to convey but I’d say the tie. Great suit btw!”

In 2014, Taylor also bought some of her mega-fans presents for Christmas and Hanukkah, and not just any presents either. Wanting to really shake up her fans’ worlds, she checked them out on social media first before choosing personalised gifts for each.

Of course circumstances are not always so happy. This month (Sep16), she donated $5000 (GBP3800) to a Go Fund Me account set up to raise funeral funds for a fan of hers, Katie Beth Carter, who was killed in a car accident over Labor Day Weekend (03-05Sep16).

Here’s hoping there are happier events ahead for Taylor to help with.
