‘Going Places’ is the brand new single from South African artist ‘Michelle’. Michelle grew up in Natal, South Africa and was influenced by international artists like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Celine Dion and Gospel music. After majoring in dance and attending musical theatre and acting classes, Michelle became a Curator for South African Fashion, Art & Decor for 4 years leading to the launch of her musical career. Michelle speaks about growing up in Natal saying “I turned out a bit of a rebel as a result of my rather strict upbringing. I did everything that was “supposedly taboo” especially for the daughter of a pastor. Whilst my upbringing was conservative , my parents were always supportive of my study and career choices. NEVER did they say that a path of singing, dancing, fashion and art were not ‘proper’ careers. Their advice was always to give it my all and just “do my personal best” and that’s all that mattered. Award Winning African Star Dino Miranda Releases New Single ‘Love On The Mountain’

Singer, Guitarist, Composer, Arranger, Producer and CEO of Miramundo Produções, an indie Record Label in Mozambique, Dino Miranda releases the brand new single ‘Love On The Mountain’ from his album ‘Viver E Ser Feliz”…(Live and Be Happy). Based in Cape Town South Africa and Mozambique, Dino has had a long and varied career and won numerous awards. In 2009 he scooped the  MMA (Mozambican Music Awards), in the category of Melhor Afro-Jazz (Best Afro-Jazz) as well as the award for best new artist at the Ngoma Moçambique awards with the song “Mae Africa” from his  album “Moya Wa Kaya”. Music Mirror reflects on new EP by acoustic-duo The Zacas

The Zacas is an acoustic folk duo originating from South Africa’s capital Pretoria, consisting of brothers Luigi on vocals with Salva Zaca on guitar. Their new E.P entitled “I me” was recorded at Undahouse Studios in South Africa and features the acoustic single “Bored With Me”. These recordings harness the melodic and instrumental beauty of an acoustic arrangement and suit the personal nature of the songs. Passion The Zacas describe their music as “…going back to the roots of acoustic music, representing who we are, our identity and our passion for a raw acoustic singer-songwriter style music”. Salva studied classical music at Pro Arte Alphen Park and became a renowned classical guitarist in South Africa. His influences include Miles Davis who he grew to love while studying Jazz at Tshwane University of Technology. Design Luigi studied Architecture and design and was trained for Opera before discovering a passion for jazz and rock through his biggest influence, Myles Kennedy. The Zaca brothers have played a lot of shows in South Africa including the well-known Barnyard Theater but have since moved to Indianapolis in America where they are currently based.
