Rag’n’Bone Man is joining pop music royalty as the winner of 2017’s Brits Critics’ Choice Award.

The up-and-coming singer-songwriter was announced as the winner of this prestigious Brit Award over fellow newcomers Anne-Marie and Dua Lipa on Thursday (December 8).

Nobody was more surprised by the big win than Rag’n’Bone Man, who will drop his first full-length studio album Human next February.

“I thought they had made a mistake,” the singer – real name Rory Graham – admitted. “I was up against two pop giants. It’s bloody brilliant! I’m crazy happy. Proper massive grin.”

His breakthrough song ‘Human’ made waves over the summer by reaching number 11 on the UK singles chart. He also performed at Glastonbury festival earlier in 2016 as well.
