JazFreddy Royal releases new football related charity song

Mancunian songwriter JazFreddy Royal has produced a new club anthem “Samba! Samba!” to raise money for international children’s charity UNICEF themed on the 2014 World Cup being held in Rio. The “Foe We All Miss You” singer managed to persuade Benedict Farr and Steve Oliver, managers at the National Football Museum and the manager of That’s Entertainment to support the fundraising by selling his song through their outlets.  Farr says: “This is the second time, we have worked with JazFreddy, and we are impressed with his professionalism and dedication.” JazFreddy performed his single “Foe, We All Miss You” to a Manchester City Stadium packed with 48,000 fans and donated all proceeds to the late Marc Vivien Foe’s dream to build a school for young footballers in Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital city. Community DJ As a result, local community Radio DJ Glenda Berg, in a campaign run by the Manchester Evening News, nominated JazFreddy a Manchester Hero. Freddy’s first love is Afro-European dance music although his song writing has included a pop song celebrating the marriage of Prince William to Kate to promote her anti-bullying charity work. John Legend adds tour dates due to demand

John Legend extends UK tour due to popularity More on this and other stories via PressParty John Legend has added a couple of dates to his UK tour as a result of demand. The singer recently announced that he would be travelling across the country in October on his All Of Me tour. The tickets went on sale today (May 30) but they have shifted quickly, with his London date selling out in minutes. Legend has now added another Manchester date at the O2 Apollo on October 15, as well as a second show at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on October 16. Input Barbara Kiss’ new album From Me To You contains Perfect Night her new single Two years later, music consultant MC-Input started working with Barbara and helped her get in contact with Italian producer Endrik Favero and recorded her first self-penned song, ‘Your smile’ in Montebelluna, Italy. Shivali was born and brought up in the City of London but was knew her shlokas from the age of 3. Before her record deal with Sony Music BMG, Shivali had graduated in economics and philosophy and worked as a summer analyst for investment bank Goldman Sachs. She also found time to write for the Finance Times and other prominent publications. DESIRED Shivali deeply desired to bring devotional music, known as bhajans, into the mainstream and thus set out to modernise them while retaining their soulful roots. “Build our music as a storyboard”, declares El Deyma frontman Flo, “That’s how we compose, we share by fragment, it’s like a never-ending movement.” All three members of this London based rock band have an international background. Flo used to live in Paris, New York and Prague, and has worked with artists including Dan Deacon, Mick Quinn from Supergrass and Turner Harrison. Giulio comes from Treviso, Italy, and has toured on guitar across China, Bosnia and Austria alongside Giorgio Barbarotta. Dan Bogo built his own drum-kit aged 7, so no surprise he became a professional drummer. He recently recorded with The Afterwards at Abbey Road Studios with the participation of Bill Bailey.
