Jessie J doesn’t think being unfollowed is a ‘battle to fight’.The Domino singer decided to have a Twitter cull on Tuesday, reducing the number of people she follows by half, down to just 400. Her decision was met with uproar by a number of her supporters, but the 27-year-old doesn’t understand why they have taken it so personally.‘I find it insane that some people take being unfollowed like a personal attack,’ she wrote in a now deleted tweet. ‘If I punched you in the face fair enough. But I didn’t… Meh. Pick your battles in life. Being unfollowed by anyone is not a battle to fight. Or feel any way about. Amy Lerie is a French singer songwriter who is based in London and delivers a catchy melodic pop folk sound. She has been writing songs for seven years, since was given a guitar and played it for three hours every day. Although born in France, Amy’s roots are from Madagascar, from where people have singing, music and rhythm in their veins. Amy says: “Malagasy music is really rousing, using a djembe (an African percussion instrument), with lots of guitars, some maracas etc.” Amy met her guitarist and backing vocalist Alex Arias when he listened to her songwriting via a link Amy posted to Facebook. Alex and Amy embarked on live gigs including her first appearance at a Malagasy event at currently popular venue, Proud Camden. Recordings At Westfield Presents in White City, Amy played for an hour with her EP producer Maxime, who performs all the instruments except the lead guitar on her recordings. Vaccines new track unleashed

The Vaccines have unleashed a new song from their upcoming third album.The band have already shared lead single ‘Dream Lover’ and showcased album cut ’20/20′ live, now they’ve released this new number ‘Minimal Affection’. The Vaccines’ forthcoming album ‘English Graffiti’ will be available to download from May 18 and is out physically a week later on May 25. The record was produced by the band themselves, Dave Fridmann and Cole MGN, who has also produced records for Ariel Pink and Beck. In a recent video interview with NME Magazine, frontman Justin Hayward-Young revealed that the third album “sounds more like a rock record than an indie record – which was one of the big aims… I think it’s an ambitious record as well”. He also says the album is “quite eclectic sounding in terms of song style”. Sam Smith has cancelled his Australian tour. The British singer was due to perform in Sydney on Tuesday, having taken to the stage in the city on Monday night. However, not long before he was due to entertain fans he confirmed he was unable to sing on doctors’ orders. ‘I am deeply, deeply saddened to tell my Australian fans, I have to cancel my Australian tour. I have been vocally exhausted for a while now however last night in Sydney I had a small haemorrhage on my vocal chords,” he said in a statement issued by Frontier Touring. It means the 22-year-old star has no option but to rest or he could makes things worse. As well as missing shows, the star has been forced to pull out of the 57th TV Week Logie Awards too. “The doctors have told me I need to fully rest until my vocal chords have healed, otherwise this could become a huge long-term issue. I am so sorry to all who have bought tickets, I truly am. This kills me,” he added. Kamikaze Test Pilots’ forthcoming album reflected in Music Mirror

Kamikaze Test Pilots are an alternative rock band, originating from Zimbabwe where brothers Ryan and Wes Niemandt grew up. Relocated The band was formed in 2005 in Zimbabwe but relocated to the United Kingdom where they were joined by bassist Simon Buckett in 2009. The line up now consists of Simon Buckett (Bass/guitar), Wes Niemandt (Drums/vox) and Ryan Niemandt (Lead vox/guitar). Kamikaze Test Pilots draw their influences from bands like System of A Down, Soundgarden, Clutch, The Melvins and Alice in Chains and have recently supported Nick Oliveri of Queens of the stone age. Blues rock, psychedelic fusion group The Freddy James Band formed in August 2013, fronted by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, Freddy James. The band have gigged at London’s top venues and now release their first single She Don’t Like Rock n Roll. The band contains Freddy James on vocals and guitar, Neil Cox on drums and Jim Harrison on bass. Aged 5, inspired by his father’s music collection, Freddy James stood on some old boards in the garden pretending to be on stage and playing a guitar. Surrounded by the music of Duane Eddy, Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters, Harvey Mandell and Jimi Hendrix, it was no surprise Freddy got into music, especially when his parents gave him a guitar for his eighth birthday. Neil Cox started playing drums at 14 and took up lessons from Bob Armstrong, whose own drumming and tuition career make him one of the best.
