As someone who was born in the ’90s Jaystarmusician had a natural inclination towards music, and that is what encouraged him to become part of the music industry. At the young age of 7, Jaystar started learning the piano and that is when it became clear that he had a natural ability. Soon, he began to create his own melodies and recorded his own vocals. At the age of 15, Jaystar took part in a school competition where he discovered his singing and songwriting talent. So…Boom! There was a challenge going on called #ThebackInthedaychallenge trending via social media. When I heard “everything is Khroam in the future” and the beat drop My decision was already made; I was going to finesse that beat. I made “the stink face” and thought to my self that I wanted parts of it but due to technical difficulties wrote my verse “on reserved” but didn’t drop it, just yet. About two weeks later in the summer of 2019, a Top 20 Trenton NJ Artist list went around social media and my competitive nature kicked in. I scrolled through the comments and thought out loud “it’s time“. I called up my brother Loko to record me spitting my verse and rest is history. My original plan was for it only to be a freestyle visual for Facebook and Instagram but my supporters suggested that I make it a full song so I shot the video and here we are. ‘Dylan Cunniffe’ has worked with Grammy and Emmy nominated producers on his worldwide streaming hits
Dylan Cunniffe is a recording artist from the Bay Area, raising in a small town called Fairfax, Ca. Surrounded by an artistic family and a plethora of instruments growing up, Dylan developed a passion for music at a young age. His first official release for a song online however, was in November of 2015 when “Sunday Morning” was published off an iphone 4 onto Soundcloud. To Dylans surprise, the song did surprisingly well and has over 1.3 Million streams today. Fast forward to April of 2018 Dylan releases another single “Lovely” recorded at Hidden City Studios in Santa Barbara mixed and engineered by Grammy and Emmy nominated producer Elliot Lanam. This song currently has over 400,000 streams. This was the first song Dylan recorded in a studio that was posted online.
