British pop artist Kuill has recently announced his new release, a rendition of the ’90s classic “Sleeping Satellite” by Tasmin Archer, which will be released on March 7th, 2025. As a pop singer and songwriter on the rise, Kuill has a knack for blending modern sounds with hints of the past, and his take on this classic hit is a perfect example. “Sleeping Satellite” by Tasmin Archer was a number-one hit in several countries after its release in 1992, and it’s still going strong all these years later! But for Sheeran’s neighbors, it’s the latest chapter in a simmering dispute that began back in 2017 when the pond was first constructed. A Pond for the Birds—or a Pool for Ed? The controversy stems from the very purpose of the water feature. According to the initial planning application, the pond was intended to “support nature conservation” and provide a haven for wildlife. It was not, Sheeran insisted, meant for recreational activities. However, the sight of the singer enjoying a refreshing dip has […]

With a prolific flair for producing big tracks with exquisite arrangements, ‘Dar.ra’ gets the tropical brass going on vibrant new single ‘Rise Like The Sun’

While we as a world speed forward on an uncharted flight to an unknowable destination, predictions and hearsay is all you hear in the backseats on this excursion into a strange new Paradigm. One prediction that has come to play out is Dar.Ra whose album New Kinda Normal released in 2019 told of tales of future society changes, while the front cover art showed a couple walking down and empty high street in a bubble. Did he know something we didn’t at the time and was anyone paying attention to the fine lines of that release. Since we have seen massive changes and other artists not releasing any new material, we have seen more out put from Dar.Ra rather than less. The EP ‘Stand Up For The Heroes’ was an honourable attempt to give the Keyworkers and Frontline Heroes of the Pandemic something more than just a round of applause, something that people could sing and show their Love, with proceeds given to Frontline worker charities. The ‘Whisky n Honey’ EP featured a great Bowie style track with sublime subplot of a Love given up on for a pursuit of fast love and neon highs only to end up empty […]

MUZICMIRROR BEST NEW RAP: ‘D.D OREYO is an inventor of new sounds and beats as he unleashes the cool, distinctive, mesmerising special spit of ‘Take me to the cleaners’

How long have you been waiting for a killer tune to just listen to on repeat? I know that for me, it’s been a while. All through quarantine, I’ve been scouring the Internet in search for good  new artists. See, I like seeking out lesser known artists, because I know that’s where the next big hit’s gonna come from. Not from the over-saturated “big names” we already know. And in my search, I came across one particular artist, who, I can safely say, is among the next big stars of our generation. Douglas Smith, better known by his stage name D.D. Oreyo, is a compelling new rapper out of Lexington, Kentucky. His sound has a unique dimension to it that skillfully combines elements of the golden age of rap (think 80s and 90s rap scene), but also takes aspects of the modern world, and weaves them through, creating a highly enviable sound that will no doubt appeal to the music listeners of today. COVER STAR: The cool ‘J. Maurice’ has a new track out with the upfront and instant banger ‘Favors’

J. Maurice has a new track out, and it’s a banger. It has heavy auto-tune on the hook, backed up by classic trap style beat. Oh yeah, the song has a clear and distinct message. J. Maurice spits with attitude and a strong and melodic flow stating “I’m through doing favors”. And we don’t blame him. I’m sure we can all relate to the concept that J. Maurice is rapping about. The only difference is he’s really good about putting it into words, and even further more, a rhyme pattern. Have you ever looked out for someone, But when you needed help they just turn the other cheek. What about people who only remember what you didn’t do for them, as opposed to what you did do for them? You know, the type that’s always praying on your downfall. If this scenario sounds familiar to you, then make sure to give this track a listen. You are not alone. Complete with Stellar artwork, J.
