Falling Doves formed in 2014 and comprise of old friends and professional touring musicians. Leyva started the band with an exhilarating brand of high octane rock and roll, topped with a pop edge that keeps the songs ringing in your ears long after the last strum has been played. Falling Doves are recognisable for their whiskey-laced vocals and lyrically confessional songs played with aggressive vigour. The four-piece is comprised of Christopher Leyva on vocals and guitar with Kyle Jordan Mueller on drums, Clint Feddersen on bass and Mike Dorsey on lead guitar. Although the songs are written by Christopher, all members of the band are involved in the creation of The Falling Doves’ sound from inception through to mastering. Christopher Leyva says the band members are not only friends who were around when he wrote the songs but also, “fans of my music and songwriting, which really comes across in the performance. Music Mirror unleashes a new EP from Elliot Porter called Keep Going

Elliot Porter is a singer songwriter based in Cambridge in the U.K who has just released a new EP. Inspired by songwriters including Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Neil Young, Elliot Porter self-produces, blending emotive and powerful chord arrangements with catchy tunes and strong vocals. Elliot’s debut E.P Sleeping Under The Stars, November 2012, includes the track ‘She Only Goes’ which immediately went to number one spot on Cambridge 105FM’s unsigned chart where it held top position for 13 weeks. Elliot reached the area finals of the Open Mic UK Competition. Established Elliot’s band The Missing Pieces established themselves in London and the South East following a headline spot at Stortfest and an appearance at Brownstock, which earned them a residency in Portobello Road’s Acklam Market. In July 2013 they released their debut single ‘Joanna’, which also topped the Cambridge 105FM chart and got airplay on indie shows from Cambridge to LA. Dubai Hip Hop Group S.O.S Release The Hook Driven Single and Music Video For ‘New Chick’ S.O.S (Secrecy Over Supremacy) is a collective of four unique artists based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The group was originally founded by the late, Tyler Fray who died in 2013. Nigerian rapper Tyler Fray was educated in Dubai and his ethos was ‘working in silence and letting success talk’. SOS came together to keep Fray’s legacy and ethos alive. Emy Perez is a Venezuelan singer/songwriter known for her crazy looks and quirky pop songs. At a young age Emy lost herself in music and pursued that dream in the USA. In her native Venezuela, she supported headliners and went onto to sign to an American record label. This led to her performing alongside such great artists as Shakira, Eros Ramazotti and Earth, Wind & Fire. In North and South American, Emy toured live, wrote songs for other artists and worked with well-known producers Shane Stoner and Steve Morales, who produced Enrique Iglesias, Christina Aguliera, Ricki Martin and Celine Dion among others. Shane Stoner says, “Emy is an amazing songwriter. She knows how to capture the essence of a feeling into words.” Emy produced an album with Ricardo Eddy Martinez, who provided horn arrangements for Miami Sound Machine, and platinum winning producer, Keith Morrison. An accomplished singer-songwriter and producer based in Sheffield called Kyla will release her latest single “Beautiful U” on KYPO Records on 29th June. DJs and producers including Liquid, Klubfiller, Andy Whitby, Andy Littlewood and Max Porcelli have used songs written by Kyla, who also provided the vocals. For Max Porcelli, she wrote and featured on Give Us Thunder, released on 12 inch vinyl and digitally by 989 Records. Kyla’s track Under Your Spell was on The Sound of Hardcore in 2009, which reached number 4 in the compilation chart. Amongst other writing and session work for other artists, Kyla wrote and featured on Klubfiller’s track On A Cloud, which featured on Clubland Extreme Hardcore and also Summer of Love for Fretman & Darwin, which featured on Hardcore Underground 4. Amy Lerie is a French singer songwriter who is based in London and delivers a catchy melodic pop folk sound. She has been writing songs for seven years, since was given a guitar and played it for three hours every day. Although born in France, Amy’s roots are from Madagascar, from where people have singing, music and rhythm in their veins. Amy says: “Malagasy music is really rousing, using a djembe (an African percussion instrument), with lots of guitars, some maracas etc.” Amy met her guitarist and backing vocalist Alex Arias when he listened to her songwriting via a link Amy posted to Facebook. Alex and Amy embarked on live gigs including her first appearance at a Malagasy event at currently popular venue, Proud Camden. Blues rock, psychedelic fusion group The Freddy James Band formed in August 2013, fronted by vocalist, guitarist and songwriter, Freddy James. The band have gigged at London’s top venues and now release their first single She Don’t Like Rock n Roll. The band contains Freddy James on vocals and guitar, Neil Cox on drums and Jim Harrison on bass. Aged 5, inspired by his father’s music collection, Freddy James stood on some old boards in the garden pretending to be on stage and playing a guitar. Surrounded by the music of Duane Eddy, Johnny Winter, Muddy Waters, Harvey Mandell and Jimi Hendrix, it was no surprise Freddy got into music, especially when his parents gave him a guitar for his eighth birthday. Neil Cox started playing drums at 14 and took up lessons from Bob Armstrong, whose own drumming and tuition career make him one of the best.
